Motherhood makes you discover yourself. Having a new human life so utterly and wholly in your care changes the lens with which you see the world and your own self. And it is with this lens that I asked myself, what kind of a mother am I? Over-cautious? Careless? Patient? Lazy? Crazy? Short-tempered? Over-achiever? Emotional? Logical? Doer? Manager? A little bit of everything, depending on the time of day?!
Well, the answer is that every reaction, mood and decision made by this mom has been underlined (and neon-pink-highlighted) with pragmatism!
So this is me, Nupur a.k.a. your next-door Practical Mum, sharing a log of my experiences in raising a bub in the hyper-connected times we live in while retaining some shred of sanity.
